37 Weeks

I went to the Dr. again yesterday and still not much happening. I was a little disappointed, but I'm trying to be patient. The last last few weeks of pregnancy are so hard. I go again in a week, so we'll see.

Last night, Alana and Peter formed a mariachi band. I should've taken a picture of them both, but I waited too long. This was Peter's uniform.

Scripture Memory - May 15

It's time for our next verse:

"She puts her hands to the distaff, and her hands hold the spindle." - Proverbs 31:19 (ESV)

Being that I've never even as much as sewn a button on a shirt, this verse could really bring on some guilt if I let it:) However, I understand the overall picture of the Proverbs 31 woman that she took good care of her family.

Have a good week!

Pregnancy Update - 36 weeks!

I cannot believe I've made it to 36 weeks. Most of this pregnancy has gone by pretty fast until I reached about 30 weeks. From that point on, it has DRAGGED. I think that's pretty normal. The last few weeks are definitely the hardest. On top of feeling all the lovely symptoms that are present in the end, we have been trying to get our house all in order and ready for the baby. I don't know why I feel the need to rearrange, deep-clean, organize, etc. every single room in the house! But that is exactly what we have done. We still have a couple of things on our list to do, but by far the majority has been accomplished. That makes me feel like I can relax just a bit.

I went to the Dr. yesterday and she said not much is really happening. I was a little surprised because I've had some serious contractions over the past two weeks. I wondered if they were doing anything, but obviously, not much. Excited as I am to meet this baby, I would really prefer he wait until closer to his due date so that Tom will be done with school.

Only 4 weeks (or less) to go!!!

Scripture Memory - May 1

It's time for our next verse:

She perceives that her merchandise is profitable. Her lamp does not go out at night. - Proverbs 31:18 (ESV)

Have a good May Day!
