I'm rejoicing with you! I hope you got that message from my email response. I've just now gotten on your blog and so glad I did! What a story, what a blessing to have the yucky part of child bearing behind and the joy all ahead. I love the picture of Alana with Isaac. And Isaac is the perfect name!
I don't know if you had sobering thoughts during all the pain, but the thought that kept coming to me was this pain is awful and yet I"m surrounded by people who love me and are trying to make it better. Christ's pain was worse and He was surrounded by people who hated Him and deliberately sought to torment Him. It gave me a new appreciation for the cross.
And having sons also gave me a new appreciation for Mary's Son who was her Savior. In many ways, I think, our sons will be our saviors (small "s").
I didn't mean to start a long theological dissertation here, just to say how happy I am for you all.
