HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! (a day late)
Tom requested a chicken pot pie for his Father's Day meal. I must admit, it turned out very good. We used fresh vegetables from our garden.
Tom got his very own pie for dessert. He wanted key-lime pie and none of the rest of us like it, so I found this cute little mini-pie at the store.
This morning, I took Peter to the Dr. for his 18-month well check. He screamed every time the nurse or Dr. touched him (which is normal for Peter), but on the whole, I was so pleased. Peter weighed in at 21 lbs. 5 oz. and he is 31 and a quarter inches tall. Considering he was only 19 lbs. about two months ago when he was so sick, I was thrilled! Also, he is FINALLY on the growth chart again. He hasn't even been on it since he was first born. Simply put, Peter is thriving! Please continue to pray about that pulmonary artery. It will be something we have to watch until he is full-grown. We have another appointment with the cardiologist in early August. I'm not sure if he will want to do another round of those same follow-up test again or if he will want to wait. We'll just have to see.
